ANGLE Appoints John Holden as Associate Director of UK Ventures Team

09 March 2005 — In an expansion of its key management team, ANGLE, the leading international venture management and consulting company, has appointed John Holden as associate director, UK Ventures with immediate effect. John, who will operate out of ANGLE's Guildford headquarters, will work alongside fellow associate director, Stephen Bence who recently joined the company from Splashpower Ltd and Stephen Bates, director of UK Ventures.

John's earlier career includes seven years with leading venture capital company, 3i, latterly as an investment director in the UK Technology team, based in Bristol, London and the Thames Valley. During his time with 3i, he was involved in several successful technology investments, flotations and disposals. Before joining 3i, he was a founding member of European Capital, a start-up corporate and project finance advisory firm in London, now owned by Investec.

John holds a BA from Durham University and a MBA with distinction from Cranfield.

Commenting on the appointment, Stephen Bates said: "John's extensive experience as an investor will contribute significantly to the fast-expanding activities of the UK Ventures business. We are confident that he will prove a real asset to ANGLE."
