ANGLE Raises Additional $14 Million for Technology Commercialization

Leading International Commercialization Firm Expands Venture Creation Activity

VIENNA, VA, April 6, 2006 — ANGLE plc, an international venture management and consulting company, listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange with substantial operations in the U.S., has announced that it has raised $14 million through a follow-on stock offering. ANGLE, which specializes in the commercialization of technology, will use the funds to create new information technology, biotech, healthcare and life science companies. ANGLE's growing pipeline of opportunities is expected to lead to the creation of new companies this year.

"ANGLE enjoys the challenge of creating new technology-based companies," said Dr. Gary P. Evans, CEO of ANGLE's U.S. operations. "With the proceeds of this offering, ANGLE intends to maintain the momentum of its business of developing its existing portfolio of companies and establishing new ones."

Unlike angel investors and venture capital firms, ANGLE creates new companies from the earliest stage. ANGLE works with scientists and inventors to form companies around their intellectual property. ANGLE has strategic, long-term relationships with leading universities, as well as private and government research labs, and frequently partners with them to identify and commercialize 'disruptive' and breakthrough technologies.

In addition to providing the initial capital investment and the senior management to establish new companies through its Ventures team, ANGLE also delivers technology-based consulting and management services to public and private sector clients through its Consulting and Management team. The firm is engaged in all aspects of technology commercialization, as well as national and regional technology strategy development, and the planning and management of incubators and research parks to support the growth of technology-based companies.

"A dynamic and symbiotic relationship exists between the two arms of ANGLE — Ventures and Consulting — which provides companies with unparalleled access to resources and experience not found with other consulting and venture creation firms," said Evans.

ANGLE's unique technology commercialization process is well defined and has resulted in the creation of ten companies. In November 2005, ANGLE announced the formation of Aberro, Inc. in the U.S. Aberro has developed breakthrough technology for software testing. ANGLE identified the technology and approach that underpins Aberro's products as offering significant cost savings and productivity advantages for companies developing Windows or Web-based applications. Aberro's first product, AberroTest, was released in December 2005 and will be featured at STAREAST 2006, the world's largest software testing conference, in May.
