Gary Evans has a BSc in Chemistry, a PhD in Physical Chemistry, and a Diploma in Management Science and was Visiting Professor in Innovation Management at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen from 1997 to 1999. Dr Evans undertook post-doctoral research in solid-state physics at the University of Cambridge from which he moved into the private sector, working in R&D management with Cambridge Life Sciences plc, where he was responsible for collaborative R&D, and managed a portfolio of development projects with partners which included Abbott Laboratories Inc and Ciba-Corning Diagnostics Corporation in the US and Fresenius AG in Germany. He then joined the development agency, Scottish Enterprise. Dr Evans joined ANGLE in 1997.

David Desrochers has over 20 years of experience working in early stage, high-growth, venture-backed companies and has held many financial leadership roles. He has raised over $40 million dollars for technology driven companies and has secured asset backed and unsecured lines of credit. In addition to his experience with smaller companies, prior to joining ANGLE Technology, David was a Project Manager assisting companies in both the USA and abroad with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. David has a Bachelor's degree from Villanova University.

David Counts joined ANGLE in 2005 from Ben Franklin Technology Partners. He leads ANGLE's efforts in Life Sciences and is based out of the office in Philadelphia. Dave received his B.S. from Tulane and Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the Medical College of Georgia. He did a postdoctoral fellowship at the Roche Institute of Molecular Biology. Later, he was a faculty member at Washington State University and the University of Vermont, supported by grants. David initiated research on skin aging at the Gillette Research Institute and later worked at Lilly Research Laboratories and Marion Laboratories on anti-inflammatory compounds, peptide therapeutics and devices. David later worked to capture early stage university biotechnology discoveries. He joined Curative Technologies Inc. as Director for Preclinical Research with responsibility for preclinical development studies. David helped found a company that developed and marketed products for skin care (Avogen). David joined BTG, a technology transfer organization, as Associate Vice President for Assessment and Evaluation. He later joined the Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania in 2001 as Director of Life Sciences, with responsibility for the Nanotechnology Institute's corporate relations. David has publications and patents in wound healing, immunology and inflammation. David has participated in presenting commercial opportunities to corporations, negotiated research contracts and served as a scientific liaison for commercial development.

Jothy Rosenberg is a former professor of computer science and a serial entrepreneur. In the five companies Jothy has founded and/or run the return to investors has been over $230M. Most recently, GeoTrust, an Internet security firm which Jothy started in 1999, sold to Verisign for $125M. Jothy's most recent operational role was VP of Software at Ambric, Inc. a Portland, OR based fabless semiconductor startup company. Prior to Ambric Jothy co-founded Service Integrity, a Web services monitoring company. Previously, Jothy was GeoTrust's COO and CTO, CEO and CTO of NovaSoft, and co-founder of Webspective, sold in 2000 to Inktomi for $106M.

Jothy held various executive positions at Borland International, including Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise Tools Division. Jothy was head of languages tools development for multiple versions of Delphi, Borland C++ and he was the creator of the JBuilder product line. Jothy's first startup company was MasPar-a supercomputer company. Jothy holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Kalamazoo College and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Duke University. He is the author of How Debuggers Work (1996) and Securing Web Services with WS-Security (2004).

Lisa Smith has a decade of experience with technology-led economic development. She brings a range of skills to the ANGLE team, including incubator programme development and management, strategic marketing, public relations, and international business development. Prior to joining ANGLE Technology, she was Founder and Vice President of the Scottish Technology and Research (STAR) Center in Herndon, VA - a technology business incubator operated by Scottish Enterprise, Scotland's economic development agency. At the STAR Center, Lisa advised Scottish biotechnology and information technology companies on their US market entry strategies and overall business development. She is also active in numerous economic development initiatives in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US. She is a former member of the Board of the Virginia Business Incubation Association (VBIA). Lisa has a Master's degree in Business from American University in Washington, DC. She earned her Bachelor's degree at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in Washington, DC.

Bob Rea has over 25 years experience developing innovative projects in both the public and private sectors. Projects have been in the fields of technology development, transportation, natural resource development, aerospace, defense, energy, technology commercialization and venture capital. In addition to his career in consulting, he has worked in both state and federal government research and development agencies and taught graduate courses in the MBA programs of the University of Phoenix and Webster University.His academic work includes an MBA from the University of Phoenix, a CE (Civil Engineer) degree from Columbia University for Post-Masters work, a MS in Aeronautical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M.
